Финский Black metal http://www.paaraband.com/ Biography In 2011 Zvartus and Helmouth formed Paara. Their story was first manifested in 2012 - in a form of digital single, later on re-arrenged and re-recorded on the debut album. In 2014 Paara developed from duo to a fully functional band - and started put together their debut album 'Yön olevainen puoli' which was to be released in May 2015. Paara had the privilege of working with great people recording their debut. Album has special guests from Katatonia, Swallow The Sun, Moonsorrow, Shape Of Despair, Survivors Zero and Dead End Finland. The production was handled by the very capable hands of Hykimys. Paara's musical style and theme is melancholic, bleak and complex yet raw. Stories of Finnish poltergeists, myths and the darkest of ages from the centuries past - all sung in Finnish. Paara toured in Europe from May to June in 2015. Now the band is composing new material for their follow up album Paara is an embodiment of the following individuals...
