More than 2.5 Million employee and their families who works in Tourism in Egypt are suffering at the moment. Your support is needed. Tell your friends that your next holiday will be in Egypt to show your support in reality not just by words. We are waiting for you to give you a wonderful experience of this great land. This is NOT an Event for one day only, but it is an ongoing message which we hope you will pass onto family and friends..a simple message: EGYPT IS SAFE... Thank you for your support and care. xxxxxxxxxxxxx UPDATE,UPDATE,UPDATE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX HELLO AND WELCOME BACK EGYPT....and hello to all you wonderful people, friends and family of Egypt who have visited this event, showed your support, love, pride and compassion for Egypt and her people....THIS IS NOT THE END, IT IS JUSTTHE VERY BEGINNING, we still have a lot of work to do to keep tourism alive. Please continue to support this event and spread the word. Many have put forward some fantastic ideas for initiatives that will help the people and tourism; some have even managed to put into action their ideas and held events already. Inshallah people will continue to follow in their footsteps. Many of you have also written to me and thanked me for setting up the group which is really kind, but I cannot take credit for this group, it was in fact my colleague/friend who created this wonderful initiative 'Mohamed Ali' , we are both managing it together. Inshallah we will be able to compile some of the ideas and take action wherever possible, in fact all of us can do that in our own communities... So you know we are doing something and not stopping here, we want to let you know what we are doing next: First step - collecting all the comments that have been posted by people in the group/event - which has already reached over 12,000 + over just a few short days, since set up on 8 Feb. And as you can imagine it is a lot of copy and paste....my poor little mouse, its right click and my index finger will feel the strain I am sure :) I wish to put together a collage of the comments and send to all International Embassy Tourism Boards around the globe and to the major global news publications around the world. This is just step 1, and first idea, more to come inshallah....If any of you have any reliable and useful contacts in these circles please inbox me contact details. Please be sure to get permission from the contact first. Have patience as each post is complied it ’s a lot of work to do so please have mercy! lol..I realise it needs to be completed as soon as possible to have effect. We as the public have much work to do! Inshallah we will succeed to really support instead of just paying lip service. KEEP TOURISM ALIVE IN EGYPT.
